RoseI seem to have found a fast, simple solution to smoothing skin and giving a "painterly" effect.
These imported photo magazines are really paying off. 01:20 - October 27, 2007 - post commentSeems really neato. Did you make the just the skin smooth or the whole thing? Duplicated the layer twice and used diffuse glow (can't remember the amounts) on one. pretty cool. We didn't know how to do this before, now we do :D Ok right on. What I would suggest though is erasing the eyes and mouth and nostrils, along with brows. That way everything looks soft except for what doesn't need to be. Try that out. It will give you a more realistic photo i think. I admire what you guys do. :) I guess I can't make this into an action all the way, hmmm . . . chica that makes a lot of sense. Haha it's only because I have had photoshop forever, and have taught myself what I know, if I didn't know I found a tutorial, and there are hundreds of tutorials out there for photoshop, if not thousands. yeah but i'm lazy. Well I can't argue to that. LOL thats what i'm saying. I don't think I am getting comment tracking alerts off this blog.. ;/ Here is just one example, of what you can do to skin, as in blurring it out, and unblurring the specific parts. Of course it involves a little bit more then that, but it provides the basics. that looks really good. Sure, I am up to it.
